I’d want to talk to them as people, as a Non-Political Party, as to how to move forward as a multicultural nation where we are all equal, not just people with money, regardless of skin color, gender, etc. because a citizens divided can cause the wrong type of helium balloons to release into the air with bad omens… May we have healing and moving toward unity once more.

On a completely off topic tangent, I’m just sharing the UW-Parkside Wind Ensemble & Community Band October 8th concert livestream I think the music starts right around 6:40 (give or take). Mind, it’s much better in person, but, if you’re not in the area or are shut in, this is the next best thing. I’m just showing off my bandmates, because they’re awesome.

I’d like to ponder what it means to be Across the Pond. Generally speaking, when people of US & Canada speak of it, we’re speaking of the United Kingdom. When Packer fans are speaking about it, yes, Detroit Lions fans, we’re talking about you! But I digress… “across the pond specifically means across the Atlantic Ocean, in which case, São Tomé and Príncipe is just as equally. Maybe I’m just trying to discover “new” music to me.
The Renaissance began in Florence and spread throughout Italy before moving out toward western & northern Europe. It seems as if most American fall fairs like the Bristol Renaissance Faire celebrate English/Great Britain style, and happens late summer, ending Labor Day weekend. Going south of the border (for you non-Midwesterners, that’s Illinois/Chicago Bears land) has Medieval Times, another fun Renaissance tribute that has dinner & a show – right down to time characters. And did you know, Italy doesn’t have these celebrations? Huh… For tribute, some Venetian Ren music.

Join us for a special evening of music on Thursday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m. in Bedford Concert Hall, featuring the UW-Parkside Community Band and the world premiere of a newly commissioned work by acclaimed Australian composer Jodie Blackshaw.
The premiere performance of Cirrus, the Sky Dancer was commissioned by a member of the Community Band and represents a unique collaboration between composer and ensemble. Blackshaw will work with the band throughout the rehearsal process via Zoom, offering musicians a rare opportunity to engage directly with the composer in bringing this new work to life.
Leading up to the concert, Blackshaw, Director of Bands Dr. Laura Rexroth, and the commissioner of the work will be featured on The Morning Show with Greg Berg to discuss the project and the excitement surrounding the premiere.
The concert program also celebrates outstanding contributions by women composers and includes:
One Life Beautiful by Julie Giroux, a moving and inspiring work of exceptional beauty
Dances for the Muse, Terpsichore by Carol Brittin Chambers, a colorful multi-movement composition inspired by Renaissance dance traditions
Ecstatic Fanfare by Steven Bryant, an energetic and exhilarating opening work
This memorable evening promises powerful music, artistic innovation, and a historic premiere that alumni and community members alike will enjoy.

There have been times I could have filled up with anything, something, everything, just to drown the loudness of the silence. Now I feel like I don’t have enough time to think. When you’re alone – Nowhere to go – You’ll always be – Right here with me – A Perfect Life Is Such A Bore by Zebrahead. Shattered glass can mean Glass represents clarity and transparency; breaking it means hidden truths are coming to light or a false belief system is collapsing. Maybe releasing bad energy.

I have a Gut Feeling I’m having brain freeze. I’m not sure if I have any word that annoys me to high heavens, but a word salad that’s going nowhere fast is annoying. What’s more annoying than that, are the people who cheer it on and call the person a GOAT. If this annoys you, “You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.” Reservoir Dogs, 1992 or maybe I can just run away.
Ever wonder how going on a Nature Hike is mandatory when you’re camping (tent or camper), vacationing in a cabin, regardless of lakefront or mountains? I think we need to take more of those. I’d walk here, pick the left path to see where it goes, and pay attention to markers so I know where things are at, and the next time take the right one to see if they mash up. If you understand how the sun only rises exactly east & sets exactly west on the Equinoxes, yet you can be your own sundial by paying attention to how long or short your shadow is vs the position of the sun in the sky and know approximately what time it is. Same with the moon path at night. I swear I’m part cat, I’m curious to learning things or just being nosey… But I’ll find the pond, the edible berries, fishing hole, and more. Like a good Private, I’ll report back to HQ. Knowing how to read/feel it out, you can runaway and not get lost. City roads are just as good as country roads to go home on.
It’s been such a crazy couple of weeks, I’m crying Tears In The Ocean but the deep sky blue reminds me that All of My Love goes to the sunlit beaches for swimming.

It’s Halloween and I’m playing with my Voodoo Dolly. They say there’s Safety in Numbers but I’m not sure if this will help you, but I’ll be able to collect hair & clothing items to make an army of them… Take your coffea cruda, made from unroasted green coffee beans, to soothe your sleepless, nervous excitement, & racing mind to rest.
